Tip 83: If Your Child Is Sick, Keep Him Home
Tip 83: If your child is sick, keep him home.
There is nothing more frustrating for a teacher then a sick child at school. Children will come directly from their car to the teacher saying, "I told my mom I wasn't feeling well, and she said to go to the nurse if I don't feel better". If your child has a fever, headache, or diarrhea do not send them to school. This is how the flu and other viruses are spread throughout a school building. Make sure you have alternative arrangements if your child gets sick. It is not fair to the teacher and other students to be around a sick child all day and it's really not fair to your child. Be sure that a child is fever free without medication for 24 hours before sending them back to school. It is common curiosity for everyone involved.

I 100% agree with that. Don't force your child to go to school if he/she has fever. If you do that, you're only making them sicker. Let them rest for at least a day so that you can monitor if their fever is gone. If not, bring them to your nearest pediatrician for a check-up. For all you know, it’s a virus that’s making them, and keeping them, sick.
This is absolutely true, and no questions should be asked about this. It is normal for a child to stay at home if they are not feeling well because if they do come to school with fever, you're just throwing them to a more complicated scenario. This'll only make them suffer more with the disease. If I were you, I'll bring him to a pediatrician or a physicist.
