Over-scheduling your children can take a toll on everyone in the family. You and your child will feel like you are doing ten things at once. It can affect family life, health, friendships, and school grades. Sooner or later, kids who are too busy will begin to show signs of wearing down. Every child is different, but if your child feels tired, anxious, or seems depressed, it may mean you need to look at the extracurricular schedule and readjust somethings. Some children complain of headaches, stomachaches, stop eating regularly, and can't sleep. The key to scheduling thing is moderation and choosing activities that are age appropriate, of interest to the child, and the child has some success in participating in the activity.
